ADV 124: Advertising Copy Writing and Evaluation. Conceptual theory and practice in writing and editing advertising copy for all media; research methods and techniques. Ethical problems; evaluation and copy testing methods.
ADV 129: Advertising Campaigns.
Theory and application of previous academic work; development of a specific, comprehensive advertising campaign utilizing team coordination.

B.A., San José State University, 1953, Advertising
Professional Experience:
Co-founder of Coakley-Heagerty marketing communications agency, in business for 45 years
Clients have included major corporations and organizations worldwide
Honored as outstanding JMC Advertising graduate in 1988
Former military newspaper editor and freelance sportswriter for Oakland Tribune
Special Advisor to United Nations' Global Housing Foundation

I also play tennis and fly my own plane when time permits.
