Can you believe it? Just two weeks to go until the last day of spring semester instruction! I hope this semester has gone well for you and your friends. Coming up is some great news about recent JMC School student accomplishments,...but first:

Breaking News! Tickets for the JMC Convocation go on sale Wed. & Thurs. for $10 in DBH

JMC Convocation is Wednesday, May 23rd, 5pm on South Tower Lawn
Nearly 130 advertising, journalism and public relations students are eligible for graduation this May. Congratulations!!! Grads must assemble in DBH by 4pm. See attachment for more information about parking, getting a cap and gown before they run out, and more.

Congratulations Spartan Daily for winning 9 California College Media Awards!
See the names of our award winners in the full online story. Note: These top statewide honors have all been won in spite of a competitive disadvantage. As members of CCMA's Division A, SJSU competes with college news organizations with far bigger budgets and huge staffs, some with more than 100 students each semester. The Spartan Daily usually has somewhere between 20 and 30 students. BRAVO!!! We are very proud of you!
