A passion for civil rights

African–American history has been the passion of Steven Millner since he was 21. "I've been a professor at San Jose State, this is year number 30," said the SJSU African–American Studies professor. "I also taught at Santa Clara University and the University of Mississippi." +

A place to remember those who served

Dedicated to the military men who served their country during World War II, the Spartan Memorial Chapel was constructed from 1944 to 1952, according to the SJSU campus building records. +

A group of San José State students is in Dubai and the rest of the United Arab Emirates to learn more about its people, culture and a side of the world that can carry negative connotations in the Western world. +
